Nutritional Therapy for Psoriasis
Supporting adults living with plaque and guttate psoriasis through nutrition, gut health and lifestyle.
Online, across the UK.
Does this sound familiar?
Your flares come and go without any clear explanation
Treatments help manage symptoms, but don’t address what’s driving them
You’ve noticed links with your diet, stress or alcohol - but aren’t sure what to do about it
Digestive symptoms like bloating, IBS or food reactions have crept in alongside your skin
You’ve tried different dietary approaches, but nothing has stuck or made a lasting difference
You’re tired of feeling like your skin is something to be managed, rather than understood
If any of that resonates, you’re in the right place. Many of my clients feel the same way before we work together, and they’re often relieved to find that psoriasis is far more connected to what’s happening inside the body than they’d been led to believe.
A word from Kirsty
"I have psoriasis myself. I know what it's like to feel frustrated by flares you can't predict, to try elimination diets that don't last, and to wish someone would look at the full picture — not just your skin. That experience is part of why I've made psoriasis the heart of my practice. I bring both professional training and lived understanding to every client I work with.
Alongside my own practice, I also work as an associate nutritionist within a specialist psoriasis clinic — which means my approach is informed not just by my own experience and training, but by working alongside other practitioners at the forefront of psoriasis care."

Psoriasis isn’t just a skin condition
Research increasingly points to psoriasis as a systemic inflammatory condition that is influenced by factors throughout the body, not just at the surface of the skin.
For many people with plaque or guttate psoriasis, there are meaningful connections between their skin, their gut, their immune system, and their lifestyle. Understanding those connections is where lasting change often begins.
Gut health
Emerging research links gut bacteria diversity and intestinal permeability to immune dysregulation in psoriasis.
Inflammation and diet
Certain foods and nutrients can either amplify or dampen the inflammatory signals that drive flares.
Stress and immune health
Chronic stress is one of the most common - and overlooked - triggers for psoriasis flares
Nutrient status
Deficiencies in key nutrients including vitamin D, zinc and omega-3s are commonly seen in people with psoriasis
The Psoriasis Root Cause Programme
A structured 3-month programme for adults living with psoriasis
Psoriasis is rarely just about the skin. This programme is designed to go deeper — exploring the dietary, lifestyle, gut health, and systemic factors that may be contributing to your flares, and building a personalised, sustainable plan around what we find.
Over three months, with monthly sessions and ongoing support between them, we work together at a pace that allows real change to take root.
Before we meet - Pre-consultation analysis
Once you've completed your health questionnaire and food diary via your client portal, I undertake a thorough case analysis, reviewing your health history, researching any medications or supplements for interactions and nutrient depletions, and analysing your current dietary patterns. By the time we meet, I will have a good understanding of your case.
Session 1 - Initial consultation (90 minutes)
A deeper dive into your history, symptoms, diet, lifestyle, and goals. We'll explore potential triggers and underlying factors, agree on your first steps, and I'll recommend any functional tests or supplements I consider important. You'll leave with a clear, personalised plan and any resources you need, followed by a written summary sent to your portal.
Sessions 2, 3 & 4 - Monthly follow-ups (60 minutes each)
Each follow-up reviews your progress, refines your plan, and addresses any test results, new symptoms, or challenges that have arisen. Monthly spacing gives your body time to respond to changes, and gives us enough time to course-correct meaningfully between sessions.
Weekly progress check-ins via your client portal keep you accountable and connected between sessions. You can message me directly through the portal whenever questions or challenges arise so you'll never feel like you're navigating this alone.

What’s included
The Psoriasis Root Cause Programme runs for 3 months — enough time to identify your triggers, begin implementing meaningful change, and start seeing real results. Psoriasis is a chronic condition and long-term management is a realistic goal, rather than a quick fix. Many clients choose to continue with monthly follow-ups beyond the programme to consolidate their progress and sustain the changes they've made.
Functional tests and supplements are not included in the programme fee and are recommended only where clinically relevant. Costs vary depending on the tests required.
Investment: £625

What makes this different
Most nutritional therapy approaches to psoriasis focus on diet alone — anti-inflammatory foods, elimination protocols, supplement lists.
This programme goes further.
Because psoriasis is a systemic condition, the plan we build together addresses the full picture: your gut microbiome health, your immune and inflammatory patterns, your stress and nervous system response, your nutrient status, and the lifestyle factors that research consistently links to flare frequency and severity.
It's also informed by something most practitioners can't offer — I have psoriasis myself, and I work as an associate nutritionist within a specialist psoriasis clinic. That combination of lived experience, clinical training, and specialist environment means I bring a depth of understanding to this work that goes beyond a textbook approach.
What clients say
“I’d tried so loads of different things before working with Kirsty. For the first time, someone actually looked at everything together, not just my skin, and helped me make sense of it. My flares are less frequent, my plaques are calmer, and I actually feel like I have some control."
Gareth, 38, plaque psoriasis
