Nutritional Therapy for Digestive Health

Supporting adults living with bloating, IBS, reflux, and digestive discomfort through nutrition, gut health and lifestyle.

Online, across the UK.

Does this sound familiar?

  • You’ve tried cutting out foods - gluten, dairy, onions, spices - but the discomfort keeps coming back

  • You’ve been told it’s IBS but haven’t been given much beyond dietary advice that hasn’t helped

  • Your symptoms seem to come and go without a clear pattern

  • Stress, poor sleep or a busy period at work seems to make everything worse

  • You’ve followed advice you found online with mixed results

  • You’re tired of feeling like your digestion is something to be managed that rules your life

If any of that resonates, you’re in the right place. Many of my clients have tried multiple approaches before we work together, and they’re often relieved to discover that their symptoms make complete sense once we look at the full picture.

A word from Kirsty

“I know from my own experience how much poor digestive health affects everything else - energy, skin, mood, confidence, and how comfortable you feel in your body day to day. I struggled with IBS for years, and it wasn’t until I studied nutritional therapy that I understood that the symptoms I was experiencing weren’t random or inevitable. They were my body sending signals that it needed support. That experience shapes how I work with every client who comes to me with digestive symptoms.”

Digestive symptoms are rarely just about food

Research increasingly points to digestive health as a whole-body issue - influenced by factors beyond just what’s on your plate.

For many people with IBS, bloating, reflux, or chronic digestive discomfort, there are meaningful connections between their gut, their nervous system, their immune function, and their lifestyle. Understanding those connections is where lasting change often begins.

Gut microbiome health

The balance of bacteria in your gut plays a central role in digestive health, and imbalances (sometimes called dysbiosis) are one of the most common underlying drivers of persistent bloating, reflux, and IBS-type symptoms.

The nervous system and digestion

Your digestive system is exquisitely sensitive to stress. Chronic stress doesn't just cause the odd uncomfortable evening — it fundamentally alters gut function, reducing digestive secretions and disrupting motility.

Nutrient status and medication

Nutrients such as vitamin B12, D, iron, and magnesium, are essential for optimal digestive function, but insufficiencies in these nutrients are surprisingly common. Additionally, certain medications can increase the risk of nutrient depletions, contributing to or exacerbating digestive symptoms.

The Gut Reset Programme

A structured 3-month programme for adults living with IBS, bloating, reflux and digestive discomfort

Digestive symptoms are rarely just about what you’re eating. Bloating, IBS, cramping, unpredictable bowels, food reactions that seem to come and go without pattern — these are signs that something deeper is out of balance. And for many people, the standard advice of eat more fibre, drink more water, and avoid stress simply doesn't touch it.

This programme is designed to go beyond the surface - exploring the microbial, nervous system, and lifestyle factors that may be driving your symptoms, and building a personalised, sustainable plan that fits you and your life.

Before we meet - Pre-consultation analysis

Once you've completed your health questionnaire and food diary via your client portal, I undertake a thorough case analysis before your first session, reviewing your health history, researching any medications or supplements for interactions and nutrient depletions, and analysing your current dietary patterns. By the time we meet, I will have a strong foundational understanding of your case.

Session 1 - Initial consultation (90 minutes)

A comprehensive deep-dive into your digestive history, symptoms, diet, lifestyle, and goals. We'll explore potential triggers and underlying factors - including gut microbiome health, nervous system patterns, problematic foods, and lifestyle contributors - and agree on your first practical steps. I'll recommend any functional tests or supplements I consider clinically relevant, followed by a written summary sent to your secure portal.

Sessions 2, 3 & 4 - Monthly follow-ups (60 minutes each)

Each follow-up reviews your progress, refines your plan, and addresses any test results, new symptoms, or challenges that have arisen. Monthly spacing gives your gut the time it needs to respond to changes - and gives us the opportunity to course-correct meaningfully between sessions.

Between sessions support

Weekly progress check-ins via your client portal keep you accountable and connected between sessions. You can message me directly through the portal whenever questions or challenges arise - because digestive symptoms can be unpredictable, and you’ll never feel like you’re navigating them alone.

What’s included

  • Pre-consultation case analysis

  • Personalised nutrition & lifestyle plan

  • Written consultation summary after every session

  • Functional testing recommendations

  • Test result interpretation

  • Supplement protocol

  • Weekly progress check-ins

  • Portal messaging support

  • Resources handouts

The Gut Reset Programme runs for 3 months — enough time to identify what's driving your symptoms, begin implementing meaningful change, and start experiencing real relief. Digestive conditions vary significantly in complexity and some clients find that continuing with monthly follow-ups beyond the programme helps them sustain and build on their progress. This can be discussed at any point during your programme.

Functional tests and supplements are not included in the programme fee and are recommended only where clinically relevant. Costs vary depending on the tests required.

Investment: £495

Initial consultation (90 min) + 3 monthly follow-ups (60 min each) | 3 months

Or spread the cost - pay in monthly instalments of £165

What makes this different

Most approaches to digestive health focus on diet alone — elimination protocols, low-FODMAP plans, fibre adjustments. And while food matters, it's rarely the whole story.

This programme goes further. Because digestive symptoms are influenced by the full picture — your gut microbiome, your nervous system patterns, your stress response, your nutrient status, and your lifestyle — the sustainable plan we build together addresses all of it.

That includes something most practitioners don't explicitly name: the role your nervous system plays in digestion. Eating in a chronically stressed state reduces stomach acid, disrupts enzyme production, and alters gut motility — and no amount of dietary change will fully compensate for that. It's one of the most overlooked drivers of persistent bloating, and it's built into how I work with every digestive health client.

What clients say

“I struggled with IBS and bloating for years but after a bout of food poisoning it became even worse. The gentle dietary adjustments Kirsty recommended brought improvements I never thought possible. She made everything so clear and easy to understand and follow, and the check-ins really helped me feel supported. I can’t thank her enough.”
