Real, personalised support - for symptoms that keep coming back

Whatever's brought you here, you deserve more than generic advice and a list of things to cut out. My work is built around understanding you — your history, your patterns, your life — and creating a plan that actually fits.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is increasingly understood as a systemic inflammatory condition — shaped by what's happening inside the body, not just at the surface of the skin. It's an area I'm deeply passionate about, both professionally and personally. I have psoriasis myself, which means I bring lived experience as well as clinical training to every client I work with.

I work particularly with adults living with plaque and guttate psoriasis, and with those who notice a crossover between their skin and their gut — a connection that's far more common, and more significant, than most people realise.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to psoriasis. That's exactly why personalised nutritional therapy can make a real difference — we look at your unique picture, not a protocol.

I can help you

  • Understand your triggers and flare patterns more clearly

  • Explore the connection between your gut health and your skin

  • Reduce overall inflammatory load through diet and lifestyle

  • Support your nutrient status in areas relevant to skin and immune health

  • Build a structured, personalised approach that feels sustainable — not restrictive

  • Feel genuinely supported and understood

Find out about the Gut Reset Programme

Gut symptoms are rarely just about the gut. Bloating, IBS, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea — these are often signs that something deeper is out of balance. Because the gut plays such a central role in immune function, mood, energy and skin health, resolving digestive issues frequently brings improvements far beyond the digestive system itself.

This is something I see regularly — clients who come to me for gut symptoms and notice that their skin, energy, or mood improves significantly alongside their digestion. The two are closely linked, and I treat them that way.

Metabolic health

High blood pressure, rising cholesterol, blood sugar swings, stubborn weight gain — these are often the body's way of signalling that something needs attention. Metabolic health is closely connected to both gut health and inflammation, which means it frequently forms part of a wider health picture I'm already working on with clients.

Whether you've been told your numbers are heading in the wrong direction, or you simply want to feel more energetic and in control of your health as you get older, a personalised nutrition and lifestyle approach can make a meaningful difference.

I can help you

  • Improve blood sugar balance and reduce cravings

  • Support healthy cholesterol and blood pressure

  • Manage weight in a sustainable, non-restrictive way

  • Find more consistent energy throughout the day

  • Feel more in control of your long-term health

Something else going on?

I also work with adults experiencing fatigue, sleep difficulties, low mood, anxiety, and more. Nutrition sits at the heart of so many symptoms — and even if what you're dealing with doesn't fit neatly into a category, support is very likely possible. If I don't feel I'm the right fit for you, I'll always say so and point you towards someone who is.

FAQs

  • Firstly, you can expect TIME.

No rushed 7-minute consultation. Instead, a relaxed hour and fifteen minutes to chat and discuss your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and needs. I’ll listen with compassion and genuine interest, so I can learn about you and understand your situation. No judgment, just acknowledgement of where you are, and where you want to be.

Together we’ll develop a realistic, manageable nutrition and lifestyle plan to get you to your health destination, and I will support and encourage you every step of the way.

  • That depends on your situation - some health issues can improve quite quickly, while others can take longer. But for most people I work with, they begin to see improvements within a month, and may have four consultations in total.

I’m committed to giving you the tools and knowledge to achieve and maintain your goals. Self-empowered wellness often means you won’t need me again, but if you do, I can offer maintenance support to get you back on track.

  • I’m in the process of setting these up.

I’d love to help clients with similar goals find a support network. I plan to provide group consultations using Google Meet or Zoom video calls, Whatsapp groups, and resource sharing.

  • Change can be hard, and that’s why together we will set manageable goals based on your preferences, lifestyle, schedule, and budget. We’ll also explore any obstacles or barriers that may be in your way, and find solutions. Finally, I’ll offer practical advice, such as shopping guidance, store cupboard audits, meal ideas, recipes and resources.

If something doesn’t work, we’ll investigate why and try different approaches until we find strategies that work for YOU.

  • I won’t ever pressure you to do anything you don’t want to. We will be partners on your health journey, working together to find realistic ways to adapt my recommendations to your lifestyle.

  • Possibly, but I have a food-first philosophy.

Food contains vitamins, minerals, fibre, and health-promoting nutrients called phytochemicals. These are as important as the nutrients in supplements because they improve our immune defences and digestive health. So, I will encourage you to introduce new foods before considering supplements.

  • Tests are not always necessary. However, if needed, I partner with many labs to offer stool, saliva, urine, blood (spot or draw), and DNA swab tests at home. I’m registered with Invivo, Healthpath Pro, Lifecode GX, Genova, and Regenerus. Where possible, I recommend GP tests to minimise costs.

  • “I struggled with IBS for years but after a bout of food poisoning it became even worse. The gentle dietary adjustments Kirsty recommended brought improvements I never thought possible. She made everything so clear and easy to understand and follow, and the check-ins really helped me feel supported. I can’t thank her enough; I only wish I had found her sooner.”

    PATRICIA, 76

  • I owe a debt of gratitude to Kirsty; her guidance and encouragement were key to my recovery from major surgery and long-term therapy. The results were astonishing. I feel stronger and more resilient, and even my surgeon was amazed at my progress.”

    JOHN, 65

  • “Despite trying to read about and practice managing stress and menopause symptoms, I was at my wits’ end, dealing with a midlife crisis. Kirsty explored this in depth with me and we made tweaks to my regime that I thought was already healthy. The changes in my weight, energy and mood were really incredible and I didn’t have a sense of missing out but a new perspective!”
